Back To School!

Welcome back ya’ll! This week was so amazing! We started homeschool this week, which was surprisingly so much fun! I wouldn’t think that I would enjoy school as much as I did this week! We also finally decorated for fall! I have been waiting quite a bit to get some decorations in the house, and I'm glad we did! Let’s now get into my week recap!

-What We Did This Week-

Monday was Labor Day! We had a chill family day! Our dad was off work, so it was nice hanging out with him before he started work again the next day! He also took back to school photos for us kids in the backyard!

Tuesday was our first day of school! We started at 9am - 2:30pm! After our homeschool session ended, our friends came over to play for a little!

Wednesday I had a Portrait Photography class! I learned all of the settings on the camera, how to take photos, and good angles to shoot from! In the evening I had my guitar practice! I am learning the hymn “How Great Thou Art”! There is a pretty hard chord in this song, so I am trying my best to get the chord to sound good!

Thursday I got some new fall clothes! I haven't fully gotten all of the clothes I wanted yet, I just got the necessities so far! I got Black Leggings, 2 Sweatshirts (one is creamy colored, and the other is light purple), and I also got a pack of No Show Socks! These are the other fall clothes I want to get the next time I am able to go shopping:

Friday we went to our friends house for lunch! Fridays are usually the days I bake, so I baked a delicious Apple Pie with Crumble On Top! We also had a family movie night with popcorn!

Saturday (today) we went on a morning walk since the weather was PERFECT! We also cleaned up our house, and fixed up anything that needed to be! Then we relaxed the rest of the day!

-What God Has Taught Me-

This week He has taught me not to give up so quickly on something hard but to persevere! I heard a saying recently: “Hard things become great things”! When I heard that, I was like Woah… That is so true! If you work hard on something in the end it will be amazing, and you’ll be so glad you went through all of that hard work! Don't give up! God is with you through all of your hard struggles!

-What I Baked-

Like I said above, I baked an Apple Pie With Crumble On Top for the first time! I sadly didn’t have all of the ingredients for the crumble, so I just made some crust to go on top, and it still tasted delicious! I definitely recommend having some Vanilla Ice-Cream on the side, or on top with this delicious fall dessert! I am going to make this pie again soon once Fall really comes!

-Update On Our Mini Farm-

CHICKENS:

Our ladies;) are doing great! We have been getting at least 4 eggs a day! One day we got five, which is amazing for us since we literally never get that much! I just hope we get 5-6 today! Please God!

GARDEN:

Our garden is good! We have been getting a bunch of tomatoes, peppers, and beans lately! We also have some pumpkins growing! I think they'll be ready in October! I am so stoked!

-New-

This week my mom made homemade play-dough! I honestly think that it's really fun to play with! My siblings have been playing with it everyday!

My closet doors broke a few months ago, and today (Saturday) my dad was able to fix them! Instead of buying a whole new set of closet doors, we put a curtain rod and curtains to make a covering for it! I really like this way of a closet covering way better than the ordinary doors!

-What I Want To Do This Next Week-

Wake up at 6:20am

Make my sister bows

Go downtown with my sis

Mow the lawn
