Closer To God💕

Happy Sunday! Welcome back to my blog! This week was very productive. The reason I say that is because it was a spring cleaning week for our family. The weather has been so beautiful so we got all of our patio furniture out, which was very heavy! We got a good arm workout in haha. Me, my sister, and my mom also started gardening! We took out a bunch of weeds, and cleared up some dirt so we could start planting flowers! We also decided to get chickens! So, my dad bought a chicken coop and our hens will arrive in June! I am so excited for that! And amongst other spring cleaning jobs, we got a new couch, because our old one was way too small for our family. We sure got a lot done this week!

What God Taught Me This Week🌸

In the past few months my greatest fear has been the wind. Honestly, I was so scared of how it sounded. This week God showed me that the wind is worshiping the Him, the One who made the flowers, the grass, the leaves, and the trees! Our Lord made all of nature, to worship Him. Lately I have been thinking about that, and now I am not as afraid as I was before! Now when I play worship songs on the guitar/piano I think about all of the amazing things God made, and how they are worshiping the Lord!

What I Baked👩🏼‍🍳

This week I baked quite a bit of desserts, but in this post I am only going to share my favorite one!

Me, and my brother (Valor) baked delicious Lemon Blueberry Muffins! These muffins literally tasted like they were from a bakery/coffee shop! They paired so well with milk and coffee! Click Here To Checkout This Yummy Recipe!

What I Wore👚

Like last week, it was very warm, but during the end of this week it jumped down to the 60s. So I wore a mix of:

Shorts

Jeans

Yoga Pants

T-shirt

Vans

And Converse shoes!

What's New🤩?

This week I have been feeling closer to God. I feel like he is my bestest friend, and that I could always talk to HIM about my troubles, and my excitements! I also have been more, and more excited to read the Bible, and to see what God’s Word has to say about what is right, and about what is wrong! Thank you Jesus!

Also, The farmers market in our city just started yesterday! It was so much fun to see all of the cool handicrafts people had on sale! God made people so creative!

My family started doing something called “Tea Time” which is basically quiet time, but more fun. An hour before dinner, me, and my siblings would go in our rooms to have alone time to do whatever we needed to do. After about 30 minuets my mom would bring us a little treat like, chocolate, a muffin, etc. which is super nice, and fun!

I also learned how to do a french/dutch braid!
