Hi everyone! I seriously can’t believe it’s already November! This year so far has been so much fun, which is making it fly by fast! This week we had quite a bit of rainy days! I love the rain, and it makes our grass really nice and green, which is nice for now, because once it gets really cold it will sadly dry up!
WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:
Monday we had Little Light Academy at our house! Only one family (the Sabaus) were able to join this week, since a lot of the other families had stuff going on, but it was still really sweet to have school one on one with them! In the evening we had a fall party for the choir! We played games where we got quizzed on all the things we have learned so far in choir (in a fun way), and had delicious food!
Tuesday in the evening, since we don’t celebrate Halloween, our friends invited us to their church’s family fun night at a jump park! It was so much fun and is definitely a new family tradition! I can’t wait to go again next year!
Wednesday I went to guitar practice! I am learning how to finger pick with the song “Yet Not I But Through Christ In Me” Fingerpicking goes really good with slower songs, so this new song I am learning (Yet Not I But Through Christ In Me) really goes good with the fingerpicking technique! I am so excited to get this song to sound amazing!
Thursday we had our friends the Beelers over for dinner + dessert! It was so much fun connecting with them, having a fun dance party, and playing games!
Friday me and Audrey had a CPR class! We learned how to do CPR & use an AED on an adult, child, and infant! We also learned how to take care of choking, and how to take care of a broken arm!
Saturday me, Audrey, and my mom went to our close friend Tiffany’s baby shower! It was such a cute celebration, and I am glad to know a sweet friend like Tiffany! I can’t wait to meet her new baby!
WHAT I BAKED:
For the baby shower I baked Apple Cider Donuts! These donuts turned out to be oh so delicious, and so many people loved them! I am definitely making these again, and I think you should make them too!
WHAT GOD HAS TAUGHT ME:
This week He has taught me to do everything for Him, and not for others, whether it's doing the dishes, or something completely different. What this means is to do everything with a happy heart as if God was asking you to do that thing! If he was actually doing that would you reply with a happy helping heart, or with an annoyed heart? In whatever you do, do it for God not for others, because he will be very pleased with you!
NEW:
This week my brother Valor got 2 of his top teeth out! He was really scared, but I am proud of him!
This past week I prayed about doing worship in the kid’s ministry at church, because a lot of the songs the worship leader wants me to play aren't true worship songs, but are more of fun songs for preschoolers. I have been talking to God about how that’s not how I want to show the kids how to worship, and that’s not how I want to worship either! This new week I am going to pray more about this, and I will see whether doing worship at church in an open door for mr or a closed one.
I also learned how to make a latte, which I am so stoked about! I am hoping i’ll be able to make one for my parents soon!
GOALS FOR THE NEW WEEK:
-To send a letter to my cousin
-To call a friend or cousin
-To make a reel on what I baked
-To make a latte for my parents
I hope you all will have an amazing new week! Stay warm, God bless, and…
