Hello! Welcome back to another awesome blog post! Guess what?! We got chicks on Valentine’s Day! Oh, my goodness, they are sooo adorable! When we got them, they were only a day old, so now they are three days old! We have to be very careful with them, because they are so fragile! One of the first things I do in the morning after waking up is going to see our cute chicks snuggling together and sleeping!

They are so tiny, and fluffy! We all love to hold them daily and snuggle closely with them. They need a heat lamp, so they could stay warm, because they are sensitive, just like newborn babies.

We sadly are not allowed to name them, because if my parents end up killing some of them if they are not laying eggs in the future, we won't be too attached and sad. although, I am tempted.

We ended up getting chicks this year instead of full-grown hens, because it helps them lay eggs more, and it helps them get more used to where they live, because they will be living at our house their whole life and get used to knowing that we are their owners (family).

HERE ARE A FEW CUTE PHOTOS OF OUR NEW CHICKS!
