Happy New Year!

I hope you are all having an amazing weekend so far! Tomorrow is the first day of 2024! Can you believe it!? (Also what God has taught me this week) I found out what my word for the new year is going to be Patience! I feel like this new coming year I want to especially work on being more patient with my younger siblings, and to work on knowing that everything has a time which needs the help of patience. Another reason is that God is so patient with us, well think about it! We have made so many mistakes in life but he still loves us, and cares for us! We ought to also have patience and love for one another! Let’s now get into my week recap!

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:

MONDAY was Christmas day! We had a slow morning, and once everyone woke up we did advent, then afterwards we opened our gifts! As presents I got a cute purse, a new Gabb Phone (SAFE PHONE FOR KIDS WITH NO INTERNET), a White Water-Bottle, a Phone Holder for video taking, and a Burts Bees Lip-stick (+ a couple of sweet treats!) In the evening we had a delicious Christmas dinner:

Mashed potatoes, Breaded chicken, Caesar salad, and sour-dough bread with butter (of course;))

TUESDAY we went to Idaho’s first In-N-Out! Mmmmm… It was so delicious! I am glad the lines finally settled down to 1 ½ hours or so, because the first few days after it had opened the lines were for 6 hours long or even longer!!! 

WEDNESDAY I had a 24 hour stomach bug which totally sucked! Ugh, I really dislike getting sick, although I am grateful the sickness only lasted a day.

THURSDAY my sister Audrey wasn’t feeling too good also, she had a sore throat the whole day, which a lot of us know hurts so much! We kept today + yesterday more slower.

FRIDAY we ran somewhere errands, and walked around in a few stores too! It was nice getting out of the house for a little, because we have been indoors quite a bit since we were sick.

SATURDAY we went ice skating! Ice skating is my favorite winter sport, so I am glad we were able to do it today! 

WHAT WE BAKED:

This week my family baked Cosanac (Romanian Walnut Bread)! I ended up filming my Mom + siblings making the bread, and I am excited to make a reel out of it soon!  

NEW:

This week I got a new 2024 calendar! I don’t know why, but it feels so refreshing to write out all the things you want/need to do throughout the year all over again!

Also, I organized some of my closet this week! It already looks so much better and I hope in the new week I will be able to finish cleaning all of it! 

MY GOALS FOR THE NEW WEEK:

Finish cleaning my closet

Go on a walk 4-5 days week

Call my cousin

(maybe) Learn to make cute room decorations
