Jesus Is The Reason For The Season!

Happy Sunday everyone! Today is Christmas Eve and tomorrow is Christmas!!! Ahhh! I am so excited! Are you? I cannot believe we are already at the end of this month! Seriously, this year has gone by so quickly! 

MY WEEK RECAP:

MONDAY instead of doing school at Little Light Academy, we did a sock exchange with all of the kids, and did a fun winter craft! Then at choir in the evening we had a Christmas party!

TUESDAY was more of a slower day at home!

WEDNESDAY we also had a pretty chill day at home! We had a few friends come over at the end of the day, which was fun!

THURSDAY in the evening, since me and my family are Romanians we went to a Romanian Christmas Church Service! My favorite part was the songs people sang!

FRIDAY like every year we had a Christmas Pajama Party with our very close friends the Sabaus! We gave each other gifts, and took some cute photos of our matching PJs!

SATURDAY in the evening we went caroling with a bunch of our friends! Oh my goodness, it was so much fun! We went around our neighborhood spreading the news of Jesus being born through singing, and also singing some classic Christmas songs too! Then after caroling we had a bonfire out in our front yard and did smores, had hot cocoa, and chatted!

SUNDAY we went to Church and had a candle-light service! I love how beautiful this time of year is. In the evening, we went to our pastor’s house for dinner, with some other friends from Church! We had dinner, and played a couple of fun games!  

WHAT GOD HAS TAUGHT ME:

During this time of year, me and my family have been focusing more on the birth of Jesus by doing advent! We have been learning how Jesus being born changed our lives etc. I am so thankful that Jesus risked his life to save ours! Jesus is the reason for the season!

WHAT I BAKED:

This week for our Pajama Christmas party I made a 2 Layer Olive Oil Chocolate Cake! This cake was delicious! Basically, I just doubled the cake recipe to make 2 layers! We also had vanilla ice cream on the side!

NEW:

This week, since we are on winter break, my mom thought it would be a good idea to clean a big thing everyday! For instance, me and my sis cleaned the fridge and freezer, organized cabinets, cleaned doors/walls etc.

As a craft for this week, we made a Dried Orange Garland! I think it looks so pretty, and it goes with any season! I am going to make a reel soon on the whole month of December!

As a gift from the Pajama Christmas party, I got nail polish, and a white turtle neck shirt! Jasmine painted my nails a shimmery light pink! I love how cute and light the polish looks on me!

Deep clean my closet

Figure out a new word for the new year 2024

Bake fudge cookies
