Hello everyone and happy Saturday! Don't you just love the weekends? I do! I get to get a lot of things done and get to hang out with the whole family!

This week we had Thanksgiving break which was so needed! It felt so good to not do school, and to have a free day every day!

WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:

On Monday and Tuesday, I had cotillion which was so much fun! Me and a bunch of other teens learned old school dances to prepare for a main dance and dinner! I cannot wait! Although the dances were rough, I made a bunch of friends!

Thursday as you know was Thanksgiving! It was a little different this year because we weren't in California like the past years. To be honest it was hard for me since I have been missing family lately, but I know I will see most of them for Christmas! It was such a sweet night though, and I enjoyed it! There is so much to be thankful for!

Friday, we went Ice skating and walked around to see some stunning Christmas lights! I cannot believe the Christmas season is already here! Was this a fast year or what?! Tomorrow is December 1st?! I cannot...

WHAT I BAKED:

This week I baked Peppermint Chip Cookies! I used the ordinary Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe but substituted the Chocolate Chips for Peppermint ones and they were super delicious! I got the chips from Trader Joes. YUM!

WHAT GOD HAS TAUGHT ME:

This week I have been thinking about what I want more of, or more things I want for Christmas. My dad reminded me that all we need is God and family and that is so true! And that Jesus is the reason for the season! During this season its especially hard for me to remember that, but it is such a good reminder and a great thing to dwell on!

NEW:

This week I drew a bunch of cute reminders and quotes to put up on my wall so that whenever I look at it, I always get reminded to do what is right!

I also have been personalizing my Bible with notes and drawings, and this makes me enjoy reading it more and grow closer to God!

Enjoy this new week and remember to put God first in EVERYTHING! God bless, and...
