Happy Friday! I am so so so excited to share all of the fun activities me and my family have done this past week in this blog post! So let's get started into my week recap!

Prayer Request:

This week I have been sick with a summer cold. Please pray that I will recover soon, and that in my next blog post I will say I am 100 percent better!

Fun Summer Activities:

Last Wednesday we went on a road trip to Oregon! Our first stop was at our aunt's house to see my new baby cousin! She is the cutest that I couldn't take my eyes off of her!!

Our next stop was the Oregon Coast! On the way there it was so breathtaking! We drove through a forest with beautiful greenery. I just couldn't believe that a forest could be10 minutes away from a beach! Once we got there I was thankful to see the beautiful ocean again since we don't have one in Idaho. At the beach there was a huge sand hill that was at least 500 feet up! Me and my siblings {not Ezra of course} hiked it up, which was hard, but once we got to the top we were astonished to see the wonderful ocean and forests God has made! After staying at an Air B & B for a few days at the Oregon Coast, we drove to the Christian Summer Camp one of our church friends told us we should go to in Bend!

This year’s Summer Camp was so amazing, and I can’t wait to go to it again next year! There was so much fun activities like:

A Zip-Line

A Talent Show

A Barn Dance

Volleyball

A Game Room

A Pond

I also loved that this camp was Christian based! We sang hymns, and had bible time too! To be honest with you, when we left the camp I was sad because the moment we got there I felt a part of the camp like I have been in it for years, but this was only my first! The other day I asked my parents if we are going to camp again next year, and they said that it's our new family tradition! I am so thankful.

What I Baked:

Every blog post I will try to share at least one special treat I baked throughout the week with a link to the recipe if possible. Enjoy!

This week I baked Gluten And Refined Sugar Free Fudge Brownies from this Book! Sadly I couldn’t taste them since I have a stuffy nose, but they looked delicious! I will definitely make these again when I feel better!

What God Has Taught Me This Week:

He has taught me to be kind to everyone. This week when our younger neighbor friends would come over I wouldn’t be as kind as God would have wanted me to be. Then I remembered that I was younger like how my friends are in one point of my life too, so I need to be patient with them! The other day I wrote a little note on a piece of paper, and I put it on my mirror. It says: “Be kind to those who are younger than you” Now I feel like I am be kinder to our neighbors when I see them!

Update On Our Mini Farm:

A few days ago our chickens gave us 3 eggs a day! The chickens that were giving us those eggs were:

2 Brown chickens

1 Black chicken

But now there are:

2 Brown chickens

1 Black chicken

1 White chicken

giving us eggs! So now they are giving us 4 instead of 3 a day! Were getting there! Thank God!!
