This Is The Fun Life

Hey everyone! Welcome back! I am super stoked for this blog post! This week was so awesome and I can’t wait to share what we did!

What we did this past week: At the beginning of the week we went to the river with some of our closest friends! It was so much fun floating down it and jumping off a tree into the river too!

We also went to a flower farm! We picked a beautiful jar of flowers, and played a bit of corn hole there too! it was so amazing to see what pretty plants God has made!

Friday we had our girls Bible Study! I read chapter one of the Book of Proverbs! I love that book, because it describes the right thing to do from the wrong! I have read through the whole Proverbs twice and I can’t seem to get bored of it! It's so good! Saturday we went to a lake! We brought our paddle boards and I brought my volleyball! Happily, the water was pretty perfect to swim in, so we had fun doing that also!

What I baked: Every blog post I will try to share at least one special treat I baked throughout the week with a link to the recipe if possible to give you some inspiration for the next time you need to find a delicious dessert to make! Enjoy! Have you ever eaten a Chick-Fil-A Cookie? I definitely have, and they are so delicious! I love the melted chocolate chips, and crunchy nuts that are in this scrumptious dessert, so I thought instead of going all the way to Chick-Fil-A to get cookies, why not make one of my own? And guess what?! I made Copy-cat Chick-Fil-A cookies! These literally tasted so similar to the real ones at the restaurant and they are so easy to make! I recommend making these, I am definitely again!

What God taught me this week: This week God has taught me to say yes more to my siblings. For Instance, If they ask me to play with them instead of saying “no” say “YESSS!” Doing this has honestly brought me closer to my siblings more and more! Update on our mini farm: Our chickens have been laying not too many eggs this week. I think it's because of how hot it was. But we would love that you pray that in no time they will lay 10 eggs a day like they should! Honestly seeing them not lay many eggs has been frustrating, because we don't know what else they need to lay more! But we know God can make miracles happen;) On the other hand, the garden is AMAZING! We are currently getting so many tomatoes! We are also getting a few cucumbers and eggplant! I have been enjoying picking the veggies off of the plant everyday! It is just so satisfying!

New: This week my sister wanted to clean (aka. Remodel my room) and a few days ago she did! I love love love how my room looks now! It is more spacious and breathable now! I am so grateful to have a sister that loves to clean and organize!

Remember in last week’s blog post where I mentioned that I wasn't feeling so good? Well now I am feeling so much better! Thank you for your prayers! It is horrible to be sick, especially in the Summer! Sadly most of my siblings caught the sickness though, so they are a little under the weather, so please pray for them that would be amazing! Ok, so I have been listening to the songs Fix My Eyes and Priceless by For King And Country! I love their music! It is so good, meaningful + Christian! I totally recommend listening to them! My favorite outfit of the week: This week I got new shirts! I got brown and gray tanks, and a black tee! These shirts have been going together so well with jean shorts! I just love these outfits, they look so cute!

What I want to do this next week: Next week I really want to rake the leaves in our backyard. There was a very windy day a few days ago that felt like fall, because of how many leaves fell off of the trees! I also want to stay consistent with waking up at 6:30 am, because these past weeks I have been waking up later than I would want to!
